As the holidays near, I feel a great sense of appreciation for my community and loved ones. I am so fortunate to be able to do what I absolutely love in California’s beautiful Central Valley. Three kids, an adoring husband, and a fulfilling career, what do they say…#blessed?
This year I want to give back to the community that has been so generous to me. On Friday we will be announcing how Erin Melkonian Interior Design will be teaming up to give back to one of our local non-profits: EPU Children’s Center.
My children are my heart-beat. Many children are born into challenging life situations. For over 40 years, EPU Children’s Center (EPU: Exceptional Parents Unlimited) has helped to strengthen and empower children and families facing extraordinary medical, developmental, and parenting challenges. When families have a child born with a disability, born prematurely, face chronic illnesses or are struggling with family distress they come to EPU Children’s Center to receive the highest quality services, education and compassionate support.
Over the years EPU has developed a wide range of programs and services in response to the expressed needs of the families in our community. More than 3,000 families receive direct services each year in English, Spanish, Hmong and American Sign Language. These services are available through home visits and the EPU’s urban and rural centers.
Check out the wonderful services offered by EPU Children’s Center.
