NeoCon 2018 was one of my favorites. Located in Chicago’s Merchandise Mart, this annual event is the world’s most important show in the commercial design industry. I have had the fortune of going the last two years. This year the entire EMID design team joined the fun. Here are my highlights from the show.
Inscape – Overall Office Excellence
Inscape is a design enabler. They have a versatile portfolio of systems, storage, walls and products that are infinitely adaptable, and always built to last. With care and consideration, and more than a century of expertise, they are here to make every vision a reality.
Their new introduction RockIt was mind blowing. Totally adaptable, beautifully designed, and affordable is the quintessential essence of this cutting-edge benching system.
BuzziSpace – Acoustic Solutions
BuzziSpace is relentless in its pursuit of bettering the world through design. It started with acoustics. From there, the mission grew. Driven by an unbounded passion for solving modern design challenges, BuzziSpace continuously reimagines furnishings to be more functional and more fun. The brand provides new ways of working, living and being sustainable.
Global – Seating on a Cloud
Global offers a comprehensive portfolio of solutions that are designed and engineered to meet the changing needs of the Workplace, Education and Healthcare markets.
The Iconic Herman Miller – Devine Styling
For those of you who don’t know, Herman Miller is a 100-year-old-plus company that places great importance on design, the environment, community service, and the health and well-being of their customers and their employees. In my opinion, Herman Miller is the gold-standard for residential and commercial furniture design. Their showroom boasted the most amazing styled vignettes.
Holly Hunt – Residential Detour
Known for a look that is consistently at the forefront of style and quality, HOLLY HUNT showrooms and collections lead the industry in luxury home furnishings. The company designs, produces and showcases custom made product including indoor and outdoor furniture, lighting, rugs, textiles and leathers.
…that’s a wrap!
