Fall Mood: Pumpkins & Terra Cotta

After a sweltering Fresno summer, there’s FINALLY a hint of fall in the air!!! It’s got me feeling all the fall feels and inspired to style a fall table. Since my house is succulent/plant heavy, I tried to come up with a concept that would feel super fall, but remain fresh and, well, plant-y, to complement the rest of my decor. I found the cutest cinderella pumpkins at Trader Joe’s and the muted orangey pumpkin made me think of terra cotta. That made me think…why not incorporate plants and terra cotta into my tablescape. This is the finished product! Now I’m totally ready for fall.

In this design, I chose the peachy pumpkins with green veins because the peach plays so well with the terra cotta and the green veining ties into the green plants. The muted orange pumpkins anchor the grouping. Gold accents add a little pop and the wooden pumpkins relate to the raw wood table. This gives a varied feel, but cohesive look.Tablescape 1Tablescape
